BCS follows the Vancouver Reference Style.

Numbered consecutively in the order of citation.
Cited in the text using Arabic numerals in square brackets.
Formatted according to standard biomedical citation guidelines.

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with institutional and international ethical standards.
Authors should provide:

Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to:

Data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation.
Manuscript drafting or critical revision.
Final approval of the submitted version.
All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
BCS maintains a strict policy against plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and scientific misconduct.
Overall similarity index should generally not exceed 15%.
Similarity from a single source should generally remain below 3%.
All submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity screening during editorial evaluation.
Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest related to the submitted work.
If no conflict exists, authors should state:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
Authors should disclose all funding sources and financial support related to the research.
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation must be appropriately disclosed. AI tools cannot be listed as authors and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted work.
BCS encourages all authors to provide a valid ORCID iD to improve researcher identification, visibility, and indexing of published research.
