Conflict of Interest Policy

Biomedicine and Chemical Sciences (BCS) is committed to ensuring transparency, objectivity, and integrity in the publication process. All authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence the preparation, review, or publication of a manuscript.

Authors

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that may be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation. Sources of funding and any relevant affiliations should be clearly stated in the manuscript.

If no conflict of interest exists, authors should include the following statement:

"The authors declare no conflict of interest."

Reviewers

Reviewers should disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an objective and unbiased evaluation of a manuscript. Reviewers with significant conflicts should decline the review invitation.

Editors

Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest arising from personal, professional, financial, or institutional relationships.

Disclosure and Transparency

All disclosed conflicts of interest will be evaluated by the Editorial Office and may be published alongside the article when deemed appropriate. Failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of the article.

BCS follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding conflict of interest disclosure and management.
